Physical qualities characteri­sing the state of environment in water bodies of the World's Oceans. These features include temperature and salinity, electric conductivity, density, hydrostatic pressure, transparency, the range and character of tidal and other water level oscillations, the speed and direction of currents, the characteristics of waves and ice, etc.
