Definition

A mathe­matical solution of the plot as made on a MERCATOR CHART. It is similar to PLANE SAILING, but uses MERIDIONAL DIFFERENCE and DIFFERENCE OF LONGITUDE in place of DIFFERENCE OF LATITUDE and DEPARTURE, respectively.
